Potty Time

Fiana is 22 months old and for about a month she has been really interested in using the potty. She tells us when she has poo poo and loves to say the word potty non stop. Occasionally we let her sit on the big potty just to get her used to it. We rented Elmo's Potty Time from netflix and she was really into it and I think it helped her learn more about going potty.



She also received a baby goes potty doll for christmas. It's a doll that comes with its own training potty. Yesterday Fiana had me in stitches because she sat right down on that dolls potty thinking it was for her.




Since she is really into the potty right now, Corey and I were at Target and decided to buy a training potty for Fiana today. She was VERY excited about having her own potty. She had a small accident by the potty on the floor but managed to get her to finish tinkling in her potty. Since it was close to her bedtime we had to get her ready for bed and she DID NOT want her diaper back on. After her bath she comes up to me and says potty? It was very cute but at the same time I realized she is turning into a little girl now. I was not expecting her to be ready to use the potty till she was 3. This could be a phase though so I am taking it one day at a time. Anyhoo, who would have thought but if she's ready I'll roll with it and if later on she decides she isn't into it anymore I'll roll with that too! :0)
