1) Register at coupon mom
2) Look up your grocery store by state and name (in my case I chose TN-Publix). You will see a list that starts with store promo deals along with corresponding coupons. You can click the items on the list you need and it will open a new screen with you total projected grocery bill.
2) Click the links for the couponmom coupons and print available savings
3) Click the SuperSaver link and print those coupons
4) Click the Red Plum link and print those coupons
5) Go to your grocery website. I like the publix website b/c they provide an weekly ad where you can click items and create your own shopping list to print. I usually use the list from the coupon mom with my total grocery bill instead b/c more items are listed for what you have coupons for etc...
6) My publix also honors the Upromis program. I pre registered online and picked up my card at the customer service desk at publix. Then I entered the card number using my iphone to activate my additional savings. Upromis is a savings program for college. I figured every little bit helps!
My shopping trip took 2 hours. It took me some time to flip through my list and find the right items for the right promos but I dont consider 2 hours being that bad considering the amount of items I bought.
The following pictures show what I came home with from the Publix in Brentwood TN. I was extrememly nervous because I barely fit everything in the cart. It took two carts to take the groceries to the car! Before tax, My total bill was 140.00 and with the coupons , instore promos and coupons I saved 81.00. I imagine how much more I would have saved if more experienced but was still very happy that I bought a months worth of groceries (71 items) for so cheap.

I've heard a lot of negatives about coupon programs one being that you only benefit from cereal and processed food coupons. As you can see in these pictures I was able to benefit from a variety of items including produce, meats, and Dairy products. I even snuck in some items for a food drive our church is doing. Every single Item I bought we actually use. I was amazed and blessed beyond belief that using coupon mom actually does work!

2 gallons of milk, yogurt and a FREE land o lakes butter, and several frozen veggie bags.

Fresh meat, chicken legs, cubed steak, and flank steak, and 2 turkey bacon packs along with a lot of pantry staple items.

fresh produce, 3 bags of salad, 2 mushroom packs, cabbage, carrots, asparagus, celery, onions, bananas

8 boxes of cereal, 4 boxes of crackers, 3 boxes of mini pancakes

wow! that is awesome! go you :) I need to get better at that. it's good so see what you got - I keep hearing that you only can get stuff you won't really use in that week, that it's more for stocking up. But seeing your list and your photos makes me believe that this can actually work on a weekly basis! Yay! We'll have to talk more about it tomorrow. :)
