Murphy

Corey comes home early holding a small box in one hand and says honey I got a bonus at work today. I thought the box was full of paperwork or a turkey for thanksgiving. At no point did I expect a sweet little puppy to be inside. Corey found the puppy in Murfreesboro TN while at an appointment. The bosses son of the company he called on today brought in a liter of puppies that were on their way to the shelter. Corey couldn't help himself and before he knew it someone had this little guy in a box and ready to go! We called his Aunt Becky in Louisiana who shows and breeds dogs to ask her what mix she thinks he is. Then we took him to the vet and ran some tests. The first time the vet looked at him she said what a cute little shar pei and lab mix. We were surprised at the mix. The vet helped us brain storm a name. Corey wanted to name him Murphy which is short for the town (Murfreesboro) where he was found. Murphy has gone #1&2 outside and loves to be in his crate. He wines when he needs something and then does it! Corey picked a great dog! We bought him a few comforts at the store after our visit at the vet today. He is the most mellow and lovable puppy. We are excited he was saved from the shelter and a part of our family!
