On March 5th at 4:30pm Fiana officially turned 2 years old. This year we had a simple party on her actual birthday which was on a Thrusday instead of throwing a big one on a weekend. Corey took some time off from work and my parents ( Mimi & Papa) also came from TN for her birthday and Corey's parents ( Poo-ma & Poo-Pa) arrived from IA the week after. We are still working with her to call them Grandma & Grandpa but it will come in time. Fiana really enjoyed her birthday and was very happy to see both sets of Grandparents too.
The day of her Birthday we woke her up and surprised her with a custom Dora Princess Applique Top and matching Euro Apron Skirt that says "Fiana Is 2" on the front. She LOVED it and carefully layed out the outfit on the floor in admiration...hee..hee...
After she was dressed we led her downstairs and surprised her with a new play area that included a table and chair set from both sets of grandparents, a pink retro kitchen set with every small appliance you can think of, play food, pots and pans and table ware. There is also a new sling book shelf and PBK rug.
If you haven't guessed by now Fiana wanted a Dora theme for her Birthday this year so we decorated with a simple Dora theme and I made a Dora cake.

That afternoon we took Fiana to a jumping play room called TK's Jungle.
She was a little overwhelmed at first but soon got into the swing of things. She loved the sponge bob game the best and played it over and over.
